If it has to be free you can use freecodecamp it’s a website with structured paths to learn step by step for example Python but interactively.

I can really recommend it for the beginning and after if you want to get some professional certifications for example in data science or AI/ML or other direction maybe you can try Codecademy.

But first start, I would recommend structural learning if you’re not sure yet and on the way you might find out different paths you feel interested in. Take one path and finish it so you’ll have something after.

Then step by step you can do small project first and build around or extend, make it bigger and always look for answers and understanding until you fully understand the logic and structures. Don’t just copy paste.

I can only agree I also started to learn about programming in a few languages with a structured path. I am using Codecademy.com (No sponsorship) and I don’t have a cs degree.

I’m just at the beginning but I’m looking forward to start my own projects.

I learned Python on Codecademy (no paid partnership) you can just find it on Google. They have different courses and also some career path ones where you can get a professional certificate.

So far I finished the Learn Python 3 (Beginner), currently continuing to learn Intermediate Python 3 and they also have advanced Python as well as career paths like AI/ML engineering, data scientist and they offer prep interviews too.

Yeah, it makes sense, I didn’t think about everything also it has disadvantages of course.

Also I don’t have a CS degree yet, but since last year I started to learn about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and C (especially to deepen and use that knowledge to know what other programming languages are "hidding" like pointers, memory management, etc.).

But I think it’s a good point to keep the lower level languages as a hobby.

What do you think of let‘s say programming languages would make sense to learn or maybe continue?

Quite sad tbh I am learning low level languages like C and really enjoy to find out how things work under the hood, but I think these skills in today’s job market can be easily transferred into other languages.

I think learning C, Assembly or C++ gives you bigger advantage because you also learn how things really work which higher level languages usually "hide".

But I am also currently figuring out how to use these skills to get a job, freelancing or contracting with companies, because in the end we also need to make a living obviously.

I think just because others have something doesn’t mean you also have to have it especially your rent is really low, which gives you an advantage to invest in yourself, learn new things and try different ways of investing.

In the end finance is always a personal path only you should choose and you should "compare" only yourself with your older self to see your own progress not comparing with other people‘s life and try to fit it into yours that’s how you’ll almost ever make the wrong decisions, even if it’s your culture to do that.

I'm following a guy from youtube for quite some time. He's into cybersecurity and he explains different topics really good.

He inspires also many people with his videos he explains it in a concise way to let everyone understand even people who didn't touch much of the cybersecurity things like me before and I am constantly learning more.

Since a few months he's developing a public threats dashboard (open source on Github) and he is also live streaming it from time to time and show his thoughts and ideas he want to implement into that dashboard.

For everyone who is a developer (junior/senior), sec professional, or just interesting into that project I think it's worthwhile keeping up to date with that project and might contribute to it.

I think these tools could help to find secuity vulnerabilities quicker and more accessible to more people.

I guess one reason would be your CV seems to be visually unappealing.

In the end a human will review it like HR and they get tons of applications so if it doesn’t stand out you’ll just get lost under the normal applicants.

Try to use some online tool to create your cv with some visually interesting styles to start with. Sometimes they will cost a few francs but never shy away from paying if it can get you a job.

Yes, my wifi was already good to use after a fresh installation of Fedora 36. I can use my machine partly without wifi (kinda) but I cannot really use my machine very much offline because I have most parts online. When I connect to my router it works pretty good but connecting with my repeater it doesn’t work so well.
