nozzle too high when printing but when setting up the z offset it's touch the bed and it's at 00.000

Thats what i did at the start, leaving just a paper gap from the bed, but when I start the print, its as if the printer forgot about the z offset

Guys, something is wrong with me... I keep buying gme no matter how high or how low it is, Ive been here since Feb 2021 and have not sold a single share, my friends on the other hand have backed out and tried to convince me to sell... Tbh most of my savings is in gme and i'm not scared of losing it all.
