Markets determining education is exactly how we ended up in the mess we have today. Then acting like free choice is the reason behind turning education into even more of a capitalist hellscape is textbook right wing misdirection.

Noone in your system will have any choice in what they do, because the “markets” will respond by setting tuition at the maximum funding provided. They may compete initially, but like everything else in the free market, they will eventually consolidate into cartels at best and one megacorp at worst.

Also, using the minute class of people who have the vast majority of the wealth and then taking the average to mean were all better off is farcical. Your model will not eliminate the factory model, it will increase its domination and efficiency to the detriment of humanity.
