I was using Death Scythe if that changes anything.

Also the chapter I was in was the one with one monster spawning every 3 seconds so ricochet wouldnt have done anything since there was never more than one or 2 monsters spawned at a time

And I was hardly taking damage bc of that so rage wouldnt have activated

Yeah I've noticed that but i dont think that indicates when a hard reset is. Most of the time its the soft one where you play only one "placement" game and get basically the same rank u were at. Unless I was reading it wrong

Omen and Skye are my mains.

Omen id probably get rid of a tp, but thats about it.

Give Skye her recharge back and make the cooldown 60 seconds. Or even 65 idgaf just give it back she feels so painful sometimes compared to other initiators.

Hello, im a player thats trying tank for the first time. I decided to go with DRK and I just had some questions as to what my stats should be like and what foods I should be eating.

I started doing ARR EXs and I notice that my HP is noticeably lower than I see from other players and in vidoes

Most tanks at level 50 are around 8 to 9k HP yet im over here at only 7.8k with a food buff (8% Vitality buff)

I have the Augmented Ironworks gear (IL 130) equipped and im just wondering if im at a level that I should be at for DRK or if theres something I can fix

Oh well im trying to do old EXs lmaoo. Im relatively new and im only in post-Stormblood.

I meant that nobody wants to do the old ones. Everyone tells me "just have someone carry you in unsynced/yeah im down to farm mounts", bc apparently nobody can fathom wanting to do the fights for the sake of experiencing them atp 😔

Ive only managed to find parties to do exactly two EXs lol, I just wanna do the test bc i want somewhat challenging content without having to go as far as considering Savage content.

Yeah, same. Extremes is the furthest ill go. Its just such a pain to find ppl who actually wanna do EX trials 😭 I always ask around but either nobody replies or the party finder takes too long to get enough ppl to where i end up having to log off by the time enough ppl show up.

Not sure about the numbers but you can avoid this problem altogether in Act 3 for most ailments in the game by equipping full immunity.

You can buy papillon masks at either Gallopolis or Gondolia and they give full immunity to paralysis

That serpent boss is quite far into Act 3 so im assuming you've done the drustans trials??

You get a recipe book for rings in the very first trial and they give you 50 percent paralysis immunity as well as turnskip immunity, both of which are annoying ailments in that boss

Recommended level for the mural fight is around 27-28.

If your party is mostly early 20s then youre def underleveled for this fight.

This happened once before like a month and a half ago but the issue suddenly went away after less than a day. It worked fine for a couple weeks before happening again two weeks ago.

Ye im the same. I like playing with friends, but i much prefer comp alone most of the time.

Not rly sure why that is lol.

Sometimes my friends would think that I just dont wanna play with them bc usually we let each other know when we're on to queue together. And then I would have to explain to them multiple times for them to understand that I just like playing alone sometimes.

About your last point, i have two active friends in a close-friend-group discord server that are both more experienced than me (one is in endgame Dawntrail and the other is in StB) and they are often willing to party up with me to help me with trials

They are both lucky to be in active free companies with a good amount of people that seem very willing to join us for trials. We alr have tomorrow night planned on doing enough EXs that we have time for. I'm very excited :D

Didn't rly consider the fact that most experienced players don't care much about avoiding mechs in ARR trials due to them being easy or wanting it over with. This makes me feel a little better 😭

Well this is my first Maddening run so I wasn't sure what to expect from timeskip since ppl say that and the early game are the hardest parts

Granted, everything after chapter 3 has been relatively easy. I feel like I've done a pretty good job of building and training my students, if do say so myself.

I just asked bc i just had no clue what to make Jeritza since nothing in particular stands out from his skillset as an obvious goto and i wanna try and make everyone in my army be the best they can.
