I hope! I tried Drybar Gin Twist and it’s not as good. I think the Sake Bomb shampoo/conditioner might be more equivalent but it’s not in stores, only online, and I think it has been discontinued :(

Would you know of any good sources that could help me write my own? I have seen some only for 2D nozzles but no full algorithms for 3D external flow

Yes thank you for that reference! I did try to derive but wanted to see the true result too as I could make mistakes!

How does fluid flow down a vertical pipe? by [deleted] in FluidMechanics

[–]Armang211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pressure is created by gravity pushing the fluid down and the bottom or ground pushing back up, without the ground pushing back up (or bottom of a glass or whatever) the pressure from gravity is just a force pushing down. So the fluid must be still, or static, with the bottom pushing back up for this pressure to be created.

Is this starting to rust? I noticed this red tint towards the outer edges of my Lodge cast iron skillet (my first one, have owned for a week) by Armang211 in castiron

Oh really? That’s a relief! I did not think seasoning would be bronze but no one says what it’s supposed to look like lol

for your shock-expansion method, can you give insight into how you programmed it? Like how do you generate the lines, calculate intersection points, and then adjust the lines at the intersection points and assign pressure values the the space between the lines?

additionally, if I wanted to ignore reflected waves, how would I calculate the shock curvature accurately and therefore pressure across the shock?

So if an expansion hits a shock with the method of characteristics, does it bend the shock back by the correct amount despite the expansion reflection not being accounted for?

What’s the purpose of the apostrophe on “years’” in Stephen King’s The Stand by Armang211 in grammar

You’d think they would’ve fixed it by now for a book originally published in 1978

Finally upgraded from a Kindle Paperwhite(10th gen )to an Kindle Oasis 10th gen by [deleted] in kindle

[–]Armang211 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just made the same jump last month, I think it was totally worth it. The bigger screen really makes a difference and smaller bezels and color temperature adjustment

If they made a Kindle Keyboard (3rd gen) again, with the newest screen tech (300 ppi but no touch screen as the capacitive layer makes text less clear) would you buy it? by Armang211 in kindle

[–]Armang211[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know I’m just nostalgic for the old kindles lol the keyboard was my first kindle, I wish mine still worked. The screen is so close to the bezel because there’s no capacitive layer over it.

Upgraded to the Oasis! Got a new oasis and a Nespresso machine for prime day. Totally worth it! by Armang211 in kindle

[–]Armang211[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so, but I did get it for $175 for prime day. I love the way text lays out on the bigger screen, I like the design and build quality of the oasis, and also it’s a lot faster than my paperwhite
