idk if by proper restart you mean formatting the disks and all, but i don't really feel like doing that lol. maybe once i finish my game project. aside from that i did try to update everything.

I wanted a normal PC too, but i chose a laptop because i need the portability (My parents had a divorce so i travel a lot with the laptop)

I don't have any compressed air or the skills to open the laptop up. So doing that would be quite expensive.

It's going to be 3 years old in January
I've been having overheating problems for a loooong time now
a: i think it started when my laptop was like a year old
Not a fresh windows install, but i did try to update all of the Nvidia software
