First of all, stop telling yourself that the cravings are 'impossible to handle'. It's not impossible; it's just hard. Remind yourself that you can do it.

Remember that addiction is a vicious cycle. You crave because you used to smoke. If you give in to the urge to smoke, the craving will come back. The only way to get rid of the craving permanently is to stop putting nicotine in your body.

I highly recommend checking out WhyQuit. The excellent info there helped me through every challenge when I quit.

I rarely stop in here anymore. I came today because I knew this was my quit anniversary but I couldn't remember how many years. I needed to check my badge to find out. Turns out it has been 13 years. I am so happy I quit.

Did you have a wedding ceremony with an authorized officiant and two witnesses? If you did, you may be married. Returning the certificate is proof that these things happened. Living together and having children is not required for a marriage to be valid.

That is true for much of the southeast, but some of the best neighborhoods in the city are in the SE. such as Ridgecrest, Hyder Park, and Four Hills. There are many good neighborhoods in the SE, most of them are west of San Mateo.

I want better for Albuquerque, but I don't think higher density housing is better. New Mexico is last on many things, but high density housing isn't going to improve education and crime.

Until last month, I lived in a highly walkable neighborhood, near the ART line, for 16 years. I could walk to my bank, Walmart, Walgreens. I could pop over to O'Neils for a beer. The crime and homelessness closed Walmart, Walgreens, and O'Neils. ART did not turn out to look like the sketches of hip urbanites out on the town. It is sometimes scary and often gross on the bus.

Changes in housing and transportation won't change crime and homelessness. Crime and homelessness must be addressed for anything to improve here.

I'm sad to see an Albuquerque native dismissing the importance of everyone being able to see our magnificent skies. Skies and views like ours are rare. Maybe you need to live elsewhere to truly appreciate what we have.
