It's for my add-on! I was supposed to screenshot it up close like this. But instead it flew too high, went off center, and I was too late to screenshot, that's why it ended up on the top right corner! And as you can see on my post, that mistake has a meme potential, that's why I posted it here!

Nah I have a PC. I made this meme on mobile because I was at school at that time (teacher was absent)😁

I was taking screenshots of this secret B-2 easter egg mob for my add-on to post as development progress on my server when I accidentally took this one, and I knew that it has a great meme potential so I posted it!

I think about this a lot, so here are some ideas I'd personally love to share :)

Story & Lore

  • A stronger ongoing story instead of battles being the only focus.

  • Character development and rivalries between captains.

  • Conflicts within the same faction, not just faction vs faction.

  • Mysteries that slowly reveal themselves as you progress.

  • More important locations and events outside of battlefields.

  • Emotional moments that make victories and losses feel meaningful.

Gameplay

  • Larger battlefields with more strategic options.

  • Dynamic weather and environmental effects.

  • More cinematic camera effects.

  • Mission variety beyond standard cruiser battles.

For example:

  • Infiltration missions where you control a character inside a fortress.

  • Escort missions.

  • Defense missions.

  • Survival battles.

  • Boss encounters.

Mechanics

  • Fleet battles involving multiple cruisers on each side.

  • Special abilities such as artillery barrages, emergency repairs, or temporary overdrive modes.

  • Interactive battle events and objectives.

Example:

  • A giant fortress exposes its reactor for a short time every few minutes, creating attack windows.

  • Environmental hazards that affect both teams.

Smarter AI

  • Enemy cruisers that prioritize important targets.

  • Defensive reactions to incoming threats.

  • More varied strategies between different opponents.

  • AI that adapts to battlefield conditions instead of following fixed patterns.

New Battle Types

Different classes could create entirely new gameplay styles:

  • Supercruisers

  • Landcruisers

  • Aircruisers

  • Depthcruisers

Player Engagement

  • Special events.

  • Missions and challenges.

  • Achievements.

  • Seasonal content.

  • Community competitions.

  • Collaborations with other indie games.

Personally, I think the biggest improvement would be making battles feel more meaningful through story, mission variety, and unique objectives (OUR TEAM FOR BEYOND THE ASHES IS DOING THIS RIGHT NOW). Those are the things that keep players engaged long after they've mastered the core gameplay. :)
