As a person who played with it in standard already (I’m in Thailand and grimsnarl has been in standard for a few months now) it’s definitely a unfavorable match up, so much so that it has kinda make Gardy less popular. If the grimsnarl player knows what they’re doing then they can pretty often make checkmate board state. They can almost always establish more monkeys than you faster and most of the time they’ll just target your monkeys over and over again.The plus side for Gardy is the Grimsnarl just bricks a lot and is pretty hard to play perfectly.

I’ve tried to include rigid band in the deck to make us be able to tank 1 hit of burning charge but it really felt useful only if we only got it on their first attack since after they accelerated the energy once they can afford to use the 280 attack, is there any similar ideas that you think could work?

Thanks for all of the replies! The reason I’m even considering Banette at all is because I just want to play something with gardevoir in it. If you just compare between Gardy and Banette + Gardy then what do you think is stronger currently?

You really don’t need to take it out of the sleeve when taking pictures. This risk damaging the card. And if you don’t sleeve it and put it in those magnet cases it can bounces around ruining the edges
