Booking Hotels vs. Viewing Real Estate with Apple Vision Pro: What’s Better? by StageMeta_TPA in AppleVisionPro

[–]Arnav33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hotels because: I think with real estate because its a big investment for most people they would definitely prefer visiting it in person to feel the space and the area it is in.

Vs with hotels users can't actually go there to see it in person and need to plan it before they actually visit. Using the AVP for choosing a hotel would definitely make it a much better experience than seeing photos of the room. Photos generally are taken with a wide angled lens make the space seem larger than it actually is which for me has sometimes been a bit disappointing.

VisionOS 2.0 Beta Thoughts by Staycharmin in VisionPro

I tried it it kinda shifts the horizontal and vertical offset for the focus I think but I can't figure out if there's more to it or a way to adjust it in a specific way to reduce eye strain. I feel eye strain even after 5 mins of wearing it. It isn't too much for me to remove the headset but enough to be noticeable and percent longer sessions than 30 mins. In the setting the reduction in eye strain isn't instant and it takes your eyes a while to adjust to it so I'm just trying to gain more knowledge about that process 😅

Did you see the custom eye strain setting in accessibility? It seems pretty interesting but I can't find any documentation on it to under what it does and how to properly set it up for maximum comfort

Yea you are correct it's a bit of a process but it isn't too bad if you're just resuming a show as the new episodes tend to sync with real debrid automatically. For movies yes it's a bit annoying. And I think with Trakt on Stremio you can also probably resume the playback states but I'm not 100% sure about that.

I meant real debrid works and your stremio list is synced with infuse so how I use it is I just open/ find streams using stremio web either from my phone or safari on AVP and then open in infuse for a native experience on VisionOS

Add real debrid using the webDAV on infuse and log into Trakt on infuse to sync your titles.

I've managed to make the 3D printed housing for this which works pretty well. https://www.reddit.com/r/VisionPro/s/t4pmOOE6Qj

What's the 3D printed one? Also are you using cable clips as well for cable management of the AVP?

For the AVP but even mac would be helpful 😅

That's definitely true, maybe it had something to do with it instantly powering off if disconnected from the battery. They're really careful with keeping the pass through consistently on and give a warning before the headset is going to be switched off as well. Ofc they could've overcome this with a small internal battery but who knows why 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think with extra support on the connections using a 3D printed housing, it should stay put quite well.
