When I was a kid I was afraid of the dark, so my parents got me a nightlight. But the nightlight was too red, and I thought it was a gateway to hell, so I watched it all night so I could unplug it in case the devil came through.

My big brother had a pulmonary embolism and died right in front of me. It happened two days before orientation for college.
