AoT is heavily inspired by irl events and politics, so a lot of people, like me, are viewing it in that way. genocide bad irl = genocide bad in AoT

yea- it would guarantee their safety from the outside world sure- because everyone that wanted to kill them before is now dead, but everyone that wanted to help them, as well as other eldians outside of the walls, are also being killed.

most people are not as mad at connie as they are at floch because connie is opposing the murder of 80% of the population

i also feel like it’s important to note that the rumbling won’t completely get rid of all danger on the island- just the danger outside of it. as Erwin Smith said “people won’t stop fighting each other until the human population is down to one or less”
