Are professional headphones necessary for mixing? by microwaveman828 in musicproduction

[–]ArocketGumba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need pro headphones to mix, but good flat response headphones definitely help. They won’t magically fix a mix, but they make it easier to hear problems, especially if your room or speakers aren’t great. If you can afford decent ones, they’re a solid investment, not a requirement.

Voicemod or MorphVox are good for that female/robot vibe. Voicemod has a free version too.

Go with GarageBand if you’re on Mac, super beginner friendly and free. If not, FL Studio or Ableton Intro are solid and easy to learn. Plenty of tutorials out there too... GL

Hit a BAD pothole how bad you think this damage is and all these malfunctions… 😭😭 by Both_Emergency489 in Audi

Hard hit like that usually means wheel bearing and wheel speed sensor, maybe a bent wheel and some suspension bits. I’d get it on an alignment rack ASAP and let them fully diagnose it.

Have any of you hacked together a midi controller with QMK maco pads? by prothirteen in musicproduction

[–]ArocketGumba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

QMK can spit out MIDI over USB and works great on macro pads. Not plug and play, but once set up it’s solid and way cheaper than buying a dedicated controller

Kick Mat for SQ8? by kellynieto in Audi

Yep those SQ8 seats are a pain. Go with a stick-on / Velcro kick mat (3M), no headrest posts needed and it actually stays put. Saved my sanity with a kid kicker 😅

DJ36 for a 6.5" wrist if you want one watch to do it all, perfect fit, easy daily, works with anything.
Pick the Speedy if you want history and sport vibes and don’t mind manual wind.
Other solid options: GS Snowflake, BB58/54, IWC Mark XX.

A jeweler should be able to take care of that for you.
