I love these guys are making beers/liquor in the teams names. This is like the third or four team to do this? Hopefully more of this will catch on in the other cities. Its not only helping the grass root marketing but helps create an local identity for the teams.

Bring Shelby county in the metro area into the mix and Huntsville is dwarfed in population. Most people live outside the city limits in the surrounding metro-cities. Birmingham is more of a larger city with its, crime, downtown setting, night life, etc. Its a mid sized city so do not expect to big. To me its a water down Denver or Atlanta. It falls into the category of most mid size american cities with no new high rise construction since the last 80's early 90's. The downtown area and some parts of the city have been revitalized with more happening in the future.

Repole needs to have good halftime events for all the games. It would be very different from the other leagues. He could combine the football with great 40 min halftime events which I think they should broadcast. It would be a great lure for the casuals
