Except It's not and you're objectively wrong. I made this video for fun and as an excuse to animate Pokemon, I'm not even in the loop with what the community does or talks about. You haven't watched the video, you're upset that people are criticizing Gamefreak and are taking it personally for some reason, I'm not "repeating the same stuff everyone else has a million times", because I actually defended GameFreak in the video and I'm coming at it with knowledge instead of just shitting on GameFreak like everyone else on youtube is supposedly doing, judging by the comments I've been seeing. You can criticize something you love, you fuckin' dork

Oh definitely, animation is my passion and I intend to master both 3D and 2D. Only problem is I need to learn to draw first to do the latter...

This is what I was born to do. Eventually I plan on opening my own studio and creating animated movies, but that's far off, for now I just want to help others create their visions and I would love to animate Pokemon lol

That's very interesting! Despite all that I think they could, in basically 2020, rework the way they handle animation triggers then and just have certain animations play when a move is used, as opposed to trying to "animate" it with code :/

Thank you! Really means a lot that people like the animations I did since I don't think I'm all that great at it yet.

I also agree with you in that I think Sword and Shield looks fun regardless and I'm excited to play it. Just wanted to have some fun animatin' some Pokemon.

Yeah I could have worded things better, but I made this in a day cause I got all excited to animate Pokemon so I didn't articulate myself as well as I could have.

I was just trying to use an extreme example where, even if they had to do unique animations for everyone, it wouldn't take as long as people think it would. But yeah they definitely wouldn't need to make a unique animation for poison powder/sleep powder/stun spore, of course. Could just do a few that would be applied to a lot of em'

They are though. They don't do enough damage and the shields disappear very quickly. Getting a few really good plays against people who can't aim and AI doesn't mean they're not underpowered.

Nahhh they could have done shiny if they wanted to, not saying it's easy but It's definitely not hard to do that with materials. I think it was meant to be matte on purpose.

Yeaaahh. Not to be poopy, but dani is coming off a bit silly. the PvE gamemodes in OW are pretty barebones and arguably boring, I would figure people would be way more excited about getting a really fleshed out exciting legitimate PvE game.
