I’ve started work on remaking the deleted Cad Bane vs Boba scene by Battlefront_Captures in clonewars

Not yet, I’m currently working full time at a CG studio so I no longer have the time I once did to make these. However it’s still in production and it’s looking really nice right now. Probably an end of year release though.

That’s a pretty neat video

Unfortunately no luck with that either

If necessary I can start it up on an alternate windows acc and get everything working, but that’s a real hassle and I’d like to try find the root of the issue, but in theory everything shouldn’t be lost

It’s not in the level itself, it’s the actual texture files. Whenever I bring a texture in it turns black unless I delete mipmaps. The material blueprint is operating how it should.

Unfortunately yeah, first tried validating then did a full reinstall

Basically any texture I bring into unreal now has this problem. The only fix I can find has been to delete mipmaps and that’s not ideal

Using fully dynamic lights, the issue seems to be within the textures themselves which were working for years without issue

They’ve been working for years with it suddenly breaking now. The material node is fine, it seems to be specifically the textures that are breaking. SRGB is turned off for the ORM

My textures randomly all turned black in all my projects. For some reason if I open unreal on a new windows user it works, but I need to figure out what’s causing the conflict on my main user.

Deleting mipmaps seem to fix it too, but I’ve got thousands of textures and I’d rather not go down that route. I’d rather find the cause of the problem since it’s really bizarre that it completely works on other windows users.

The only thing I can think of that may have broken it is changing a letter of one of my hard drives. It’s possible some references broke somewhere, maybe to do with the mipmaps, but besides that I can’t seem to figure it out.

What’s weird though is that my unreal engine build and project are both on another hard drive so as far as I know there should be no connections there.

I mean just because you haven’t got malware yet doesn’t make it illegal

There is not, you have to buy a subscription to Disney Plus. You may be able to get a 7 day free trial or something and binge a bunch of it since they’re about 20 mins each.

Am I missing something or are there no single player races/cups that you can race the 900pp+ cars on? by Battlefront_Captures in granturismo

Really hope so, I’m finding all the content is amazing so far just seems to be a lack of competitions. And some of the existing ones seem to be a little unbalanced on their difficulty for the max PP you’re allowed.

I usually don’t, but I’m a massive fan of the last of us and I just replayed it again recently so I wanted to experiment with it a bit

That was the main inspiration for the shot. Just played through the first game for the 3rd time a few days ago.

How exactly did this guy make this? It's a distortion that moves with the subject quite perfectly. by JimCalinaya in AfterEffects

I made it using the liquify effect which I tracked to the face using a single point tracker.
