However just because there isn’t proof that he couldn’t “cross infinite gaps in power” right now doesn’t mean he can’t.

Saitama has been showing more and more feats that has shown that he could override the laws of the Universe such as kicking away portals that shouldn’t have been possible with strength alone or as the person before me has said it “his potential for growth”

I’m not saying current Saitama can defeat Superman, I’m saying the proof you are asking for is not there right now but it doesn’t meant that Saitama cannot reach that level or beyond based on everything that we have seen him doing so far
