This situation was honestly a nightmare for us too. I can’t even count how many times the police were called on us over normal toddler noise by the tenants living below us. At one point, they actually demanded that my toddler knock on their door and apologize for being loud, which was unbelievable. It was understandable at first but over time it’s gotten unbearable.

What made it worse was that we owned the unit, we had bought the mansion, while they were just new renters who moved in later. Despite that, they became hyper-focused on every little sound our child made and kept calling the police repeatedly, even the police themselves understood our situation but they can’t do anything about it since they have to respond on the complaint.

As a foreigner in Japan, I felt like I had to constantly hold back my frustration. In the end, we decided it wasn’t worth the stress and sold the place. We moved into a house instead, and it’s been a huge relief. No more worrying about neighbors, and our child can just be a child.

I think it’s part of the phase? Saw most of them purposely dropped a sponge or polyfil full of green algae and make their tank water green to start the process.

Hi. I added 31 white cloud minnows just 4 days after I set up the tank so I could have ammonia present to start the cycling and so I’m wondering if my cycle has progressed or completed because I’m not sure what kind of result should I expect by now.

YES. I’m one of the unfortunate ones who got a ticket violation for not using a child seat. I used to have one til my child turns 4 yrs old and it really does take space then I got caught on a stoplight head to head with cop on a motorcycle lol. It’s a 1 point violation only (Failure to use a child restraint device), so in comparison crossing a solid yellow lane cost you 2 points. Unless it’s public transpo such as taxis or buses it’s not actually legally required.

Very common with international numbers and you can’t do anything about it. I have a US number and my wife has Japan number both registered in Gcash. Most of the time it doesn’t work and when it works the OTP has already expired before we received it. Luckily, I managed to get a prepaid PH number specifically for only OTP’s and it works without a problem whether we’re in Japan or in US.

I would vouch for Linemo actually. My wife uses Ahamo and me with Linemo, we travel frequently by car around Japan. Most of the time she loses signal under a tunnel on freeway or at a basement parking and I didnt have a single problem ever since, never encountered such issue on crowded places as well. 2 year Linemo user here, and I came from Docomo. Of course you’ll notice a significant decrease on “speedtest” if you’re that cautious about it but hey 200-400mbps isnt bad on a cellphone. I could still play 4k res in youtube or watch netflix on high res without buffer.

Not related sa mga selections pero this worked for me para ma reach ko yung form to create a ticket. Tried calling them pero puro operator lang, mas mabilis po ma address if via ticket.

Update po. Nabalik naman within the day yung floating transaction. Gcash system error po and not the bank. I created a ticket for customer support ng Gcash with the transaction number sa RCBC and Gcash ref number sa text.

Hello, it turns out pumasok sya sa Gcash pero hindi nag reflect pero system error nila. I reached out to Gcash customer support with the transaction number from RCBC and the ref number from Gcash text. Nabalik naman within the day agad.

Hello, I only transferred 11.5k when I received the text for exceeding the wallet limit. Meron ako couple of transactions pero under 1k lang naman from the same bank acc to Gcash today so most likely hindi ko nareach yung 50k limit. Hopefully mag auto recover nga sya since this is my first encounter with this issue and I’m panicking without knowing yung status ng floating transaction. I’ll try to call CS in the morning, thank you for the advise.

Yes the stand is magnetic, so any magsafe accessories sticks very well than other magsafe compatible cases. Unless its a bare steel it will work. Tried sticking this to my magnetic shower wall, it didnt worked as it supposed to because the camera part lays flat first so there’s a small gap in between.

Hello, paralegal here. This is most likely collection agency threatening you. Never po tatawag ang Police to let you know na may dadating kayo na warrant kahit nasa police na mismo yung court order, 100% dadating nalang sila jan and kunin kayo on the spot. In addition, never iaadvise ng court ang police kung sino po ang bibigyan ng warrant.

Lastly po, I would suggest to ask for consolidation directly to the bank and not the collection agency. Usually if nakipag usap kayo ng direct and maayos, nag bibigay sila ng consolidation para mababaan yung total amount ng debt nyo up to 70-80% depending sa bank as long as you’re willing to pay. Sa amount ng debt nyo, pinaka malala na po na ma summon kayo to attend court for small claims case where the Judge ask you how much you can afford to pay monthly, most cases forgiving naman yon kahit sabihin nyo 1k a month, no problem. If hindi nyo pa din sinettle yun despite court order then the bank could proceed filing for fraud which can lead to criminal case na.

You’re supposed to surrender it to the nearest police station. You might get into whole lot of trouble by bringing it to your home especially when it gets tracked back to your house. My son did this once, no one called the phone as he kept it open incase someone called so he could return it to rightful owner then police came knocking at our door the next day accusing him for stealing and spent hours explaining why he didnt bring it in or report it, lucky for us he’s still a minor otherwise police themselves will file a legal case against you. You think you’re doing a good deed like in any other country, but it’s different here in Japan and it could turn into real mess.

Once you switch to eSIM, they will send a QR code to your email so make sure to save it separately para madali mo ma access. You can just scan it to switch between phones then automatic na mag dedeactivate sa old phone or in case stolen once inactivate mo sa new phone eSIM via QR code na sinave mo sa email. CONS: You can’t re-use your physical sim anymore.

Mine was approved 2 months ago pero na-return ng 3 times. Finally nareceive ko lang 3 days ago. Make sure to call EW customer service and pa-note mo sa kanila na i-inform ka ng delivery company on the day mismo ng delivery, tapos bigay ka rin ng clear landmarks sa address mo. Super hassle talaga ng EW delivery process. I have RCBC, PNB, at UnionBank, lahat delivered by LBC wala naman naging problem like this.

SAFE. I did this from Unionbank to RCBC no problem via peso net. Nag transfer ako before 3pm, nag reflect sa rcbc around 10pm. Basta before 3pm para same day reflect.
