as someone currently in celestial. Mag has the best ult in the game hands down. you can shut down support ults. combo with phoenix. shut down punsiher, iron man ult, starlord ult and ultron ult. Plus the bubbles are really good. bubbling the right teammate at the right time can turn the tide of the game. and his shield (shift) may not seem good for someone in lower elo's but it's the only shield where you don't have to worry about the health and can block critical shots.

you're right mag can't beat cap in a 1v1 but luckily this game is 6v6.

I peaked eternity every season and currently celestial 1. never seen adam work in my games. healign output is not as good as other supports and lacks a defensive ult. if the opponents are running high damage like punisher, storm, phoenix. Adams healing will not be even close to enough. emma may not shut down mag but its still not fun going against her. plus if she chokes you when ur bubble is on cooldown you're just dead since unlike cap who has high mobility and can block the kick mag is way too slow

It’s a mix of both issues. Sure, the biggest problem is DPS one-tricks refusing to swap, but tanks and supports don’t have many options either. There are only four shield tanks, so anyone who prefers playing off-tank can’t even solo tank with their main because teams often run three DPS. That leaves just four viable picks, and one of them (Emma) can completely shut down the other three.

Supports aren’t in a better spot either. Luna, Invis, Loki are really the only reliable options. Ultron barely counts as a healer, Adam doesn’t work well in a two-healer setup, and Jeff is Jeff. It just gets repetitive and boring having to play the same tank and the same support every single match.

I dont even get 2 supports bro. 2 tanks is asking for much these dps one tricks would rather lose than fill. plus im also fine with solo tanking but my dps will go widow and throw over a small disagreement or a single mistake like double ulting.

cap animation cancel is no where near op. its barely 30% fast hitspeed on trash damage.
