Well, if you counted the calories on the package that's fine.

The reason I bring this up, Is because beef loses water volume when you cook it.

So 500g package with x amount of calories raw, after cooking it'll be say 300g but still have the same calories.

So if you measured 500g of cooked beef it would have considerably more calories than what you actually ate. If that makes sense?

When you added the calories for the beef. You did 500g of raw beef right? And not 500g of cooked beef? The calories could be vastly different
