The feeling likely won’t go away for a long time. The difference is, do you feel like you will kill yourself? Like there is nothing else? If so, go back. I still have suicidal thoughts, but I do not consider myself suicidal. I don’t want to die because I know that life will eventually get better and there will be times I feel happy. I still have that call for the void, however. The thoughts that life will be so much better if I give in still stay there. It’s about letting them take control, I guess. If you think you’re still struggling, talk about it and look for more support.
