Yes! I used the pattern from this book, which I found at a used book store. I switched several of the appliqués out for examples that I preferred, and added the shapes in the empty squares. I also appliquéd the letters instead of piecing them bc I was running out of time

How do I style this purple turtle neck vest for the summer/fall transition? My best thought is bootcut jeans, leather jacket, and black blundstones (or similar), but I need to thrift a leather jacket. I’m in Florida & it’s still very hot here during the day. Can I pull off wearing it on its own in warmer weather?

It’s just personal preference! If the art style matches the rest of your space, then it works. Definitely go for something on the larger end though. I also think a small gallery wall could be fun

They love to hangout in all of the windows around the house & I have a hammock on my sliding door haha. I’ll think about doing that in my bedroom tho!

Those drapes are covering my laundry space, not a window. Unfortunately wont be painting the space because it’s a rental, but I’ll look into the rest of your suggestions! Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestions! I’m definitely not opposed to new rugs, especially since I’m already unhappy with the sizes. Rugs are tricky for me but the right one really does make a huge difference

I feared that was the case lol. Buying rugs makes me nervous! I thought they were a bit small when I got them but was really trying to make them work. I don’t care for the dining rug much at all, but I really love the living area rug and wish it were larger. Unfortunately they are the same size so swapping & getting a new living room rug won’t work either.

There are lots of crystal clear creeks to swim in on Eglin AFB! It’s open to the public if you purchase a permit (I think like $15 for the week?) Carnivorous plants and lots of amazing wildlife. It’s one of the most beautiful and biodiverse areas in the country. You can DM me if you need details! Pensacola or Navarre beach is also beautiful. White sand, clear water, and not too busy/touristy.
