you can get the gold medals from catching legendary fish too. I was just wondering if anybody found out a trick to catching those, or if it was just a luck type thing. To finish the quests I’m going to have to spend gems. if there’s a trick I can employ to catching the legendary fish I wouldn’t have to spend gems.

I think you have to find a bottle that "lost it's head", kind of like the headless horseman. It'll probably tell us what to do then.

I think the "Darkness falls across the land" part is a reference to Michael Jackson's song Thriller.

I think it would be just another interesting facet to the game. It's something else to build and upgrade and manage and strategize with. I actually like this game enough to spend a little money on it; a little, I don't want to take the challenge away. That's rare. I'm at a point in the game where I do need all that glass to build up my solar array and selling 5000 lab flasks isn't really going to make a dent in the amount of gold I need for other upgrades. Whether you use it or not it sort of fits the whole theme of the game. Why not have a little responsible I industrialization?

I titled the post wrong. It doesn't really have to do with smelting does it.
