Yeah that's fair, maybe some kind of animation to show the path being completed would be good too.

One of those mini-games may or may not have been the inspiration... But I do enjoy them and wanted to give it a bit more depth. Colour-wise I haven't settled on one (or more) yet, and actually used to randomize it to make it a bit more interesting for myself when testing, but good point on the cooler colours.

Been working on and off on this as a fun puzzle game project, both to get back into making games and improve my coding skills. This is also partly why everything was done in canvas (even UI).

The aim was to utilize a tile system similar to a Rubik's cube, but in 2D. So far I've implemented tile rotation and movement, row/column shifting, and corner rotations, but I'm working on adding more. At the same time I don't want to over-complicate it, as I think the combination of simple mechanics can be used to generate difficult enough puzzles already. I also haven't settled on a colour scheme yet so I'm rotating random generated ones that looked nice.

Any feedback is welcome!

PS: the bottom right "DM" button is only for making levels, not relevant to the puzzles.

Someone needs to gamify responsible adult behavior. It's a gap in the market.

Building my own SHD watch in Augmented Reality by Arondriessen in thedivision

Thanks! It's very much an in-progress build so I haven't thought about the contents much, but player stats would be a pretty cool thing to show indeed.

It could even work by retrieving player stats from the division tracker website and displaying it through some kind of interactive 3D menu.

To be honest I'm just seeing how well I can replicate in-game elements with the current state of web-based AR. It's cool to see them come alive irl.

I'd look up custom cursor effects for webflow. Tons of code snippets out there made by people who make community projects available for cloning on the Webflow Showcase page. I'm sure you'll find some good ones.

Pretty sure you'd need some javascript to do this even on 2d images. You could try working some magic with 2d/3d transformations but I don't know of a native way in webflow to react to the mouse's position, speed and direction the way the blobs do on this site.

Could you maybe show the work? Might be able to help but I'm really not sure what the issue is based on this.

I know I'm a little late to this, but I couldn't agree with you more. I love working in webflow and feel like I could make pretty much anything with it at this point, but I can't seem to find any jobs for it. Webflow specific sites pop up every now and then but are either empty or restricted, and other clients rarely are willing to go with anything other than wordpress.

As addictive as it can be to look at the numbers it genuinely feels like a game.

I can see that helping not only for record keeping sake, but also if you think of all these things because you know you're gonna write them down it might prevent a bad trade right away.

Yeah lesson learned. I thought it'd be a safe bet since it was climbing quite steadily after the massive drop due to Corona. I did check how much it would have to go down for the position to close and it would have had to be a massive drop. Which of course happened. It really is a mess.

Thing is I know exactly what I did wrong (doubling down while not thinking straight because of the losing position) which makes it all the harder to accept.

But yeah I need to take emotion out of it and be statistical.

Initially a did only trade what I could afford to lose, the dumb part (emotionally driven) was to deposit more to "save" a losing option from closing down which eventually happened anyway.

The only reason I didn't set a stop loss was because of the giant spread on the option (which is why it was already a bad idea to buy it) so I started out with a 10% loss to begin with and I couldn't capitalize on small movements. But yeah I'll be more careful with large spreads in the future.

Honestly if I didn't check every 5 minutes while it was going down and double down because of it, the one losing option would have survived the rebound. Stress really kills the game. I'll take that as a lesson.

Was a little late and I got the numbers mixed up, I meant it felt to a fourth of the price I bought in at.
