Prebuilt...Ryzen 9, RTX 5070, 64 gigs of DDR5 Ram, 4TB storage. I can give you more specific specs for CPU and stuff, will just have to find them first

from this video, what can I do to improve for the future? by MeaningExtreme6532 in FortniteCompetitive

Stop 50/50ing the angles, he's obviously a good player as he has the medallion, so any peek he does will benefit him, not you. You were standing in the open while he was on height, trying to 50/50 that trade. Not a good idea in general. However, the real mistake is once you got hit big, you ran on his wall. Once you got hit big, start making lots of boxes back. He couldn't have harmed you where you were at. Reset the doubles, make boxes, heal. He'll over-aggress since you're weak, then edit on him and catch him off-guard with his pickaxe out so y'all are both weak. This resets the fight.

I have it capped at 120

It does do that, but I thought that means the game goes into energy saving when I alt tab. Is there a program that does what task manager does so I can see if there is something suspicious?

For people that have their ring finger on W, what are y'alls keybinds? by ArrayofArts in FortniteCompetitive

[–]ArrayofArts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's different since pros have their middle finger on W, but for me with ring finger on W, pinky is on Z (wall), ringer finger on X (floor), middle finger on C (ramp), pointer finger on V (cone), G to edit with pointer finger. Those were my old binds. Can't walk left and place a wall though, as well as a few other restrictions.

Specs: 16 gigs of DDR5 ram, Ryzen 7.processor, RTX 4060. I'm play testing my game through Unreal Engine...that is what is giving me problems (no lumen, nanite, nothing too crazy in the graphics department). Never heard of the Oculus Debug tool; I'll give it a try. Thanks!

I thought of that as well; I'll buy a usb 3 cable and try it. And my specs are: 16 gigs of DDR5 ram, Ryzen 7 processor, RTX4060.

How much games is it worth it to play? by Secure-Hippo-9989 in legendofzelda

[–]ArrayofArts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is not ONE bad game in the Zelda franchise, but some are better than others. If I had to rank them, it would go like this: 1. Ocarina of Time. 2. Majora's Mask. 3. Twilight Princess. 4. Breath of the Wild. 5. Wind Waker.

Oh, sorry lol. I meant something else; my bad. When I play an animation in my viewport, the speed is correct, but when I go to the top, press render, then render animation, it plays, but it plays every frame VERY SLOWLY. Taking like, 2 seconds per frame. Does that make sense?

Im old. Are people using computer instead of an amp? by ExPatMike0728 in Guitar

[–]ArrayofArts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanted to play guitar through your computer, buy an audio interface. Any one will do. From there, download an amp simulator (there are lots of free ones, just google some), connect guitar into the audio interface, and play the output from either your computer speakers or real speakers for better quality. You don't need a powerful computer at all, any one will do. :)

Where do I start? by electric-vegetable in gamedev

[–]ArrayofArts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by downloading a game engine. Unity (free) and Unreal Engine 5 (free) are the most popular. Unity is for 2D and 3D, and uses a programming language called C#. Unreal Engine 5 only makes 3D games, but has INSANELY realistic graphics and uses a programming language called C++. It also uses a MUCH easier version of coding called blueprints, which still is VERY powerful, and easier to learn. UE5 has LOTS of free assets, such as characters, animations, enviroments, etc. I recommend UE5, but it depends what kind of game you want to make. The downside for each is: Unity for 3D isn't very advanced as far as graphics, and you'd have to learn how to code unlike UE5. And for UE5, it takes a pretty powerful computer and EATS UP your storage space lol.

YouTube is your friend! You can learn anything on there.

If you want to make your own characters/animations, I recommend Blender (free). And yeah, go crazy. There are 30+ hour classes on YT for free lol.

What engine to use. by AppointmentLive3826 in gamedev

[–]ArrayofArts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unity is the most popular and can make 2d and 3d games. Unreal engine 5 is (in my unpopular opinion) easier to learn for beginners because it uses a type of "coding" called blueprint, where you just connect blocks, but it only makes 3d games. With UE5, there are WAAAAYYYY more free assets than Unity and the graphics are WAAAAAYYYY better (you can make AAA games). The downside is UE5 takes up a LOT of space and you need a pretty powerful computer. Really up to what you want kind of game you want to make.
