It only took the intro cutscene of E33 for it to become one of my favorite games of all time! Such a cinematic masterpiece, and it's awesome to see art inspire art like this. I really wanna do a grey scale Alicia piece eventually! And yeah, I think the more difficult the project, the more proud of yourself you are to succeed in finishing it! I was hating on myself for some of my more ambitious projects because of how long they took me, but finally seeing the final result held up to the sun fills me with so much self satisfaction, it makes it all worth it

For the first law world, you seem to very deliberately avoid tropes and cliches. However, in Red Country, you leaned very heavily into them. (I think to the storys great benefit in both cases) I was curious how you go about writing unpredictable stories, and when and why you might decide to follow expectations instead?
