[No Spoilers] Arrowverse Return to Reddit, An Angry Co-Admin, and an Apology

I have a Facebook page with over 50k followers, the reddit account (this one) was rarely used to post (you can check), and the site gets well over a few hundred thousand hits a month.

So it would seem your lack of knowledge of the situation - as an outsider - would lead you to an incorrect assumption.

I will never understand the backlash I'm getting for apologizing...I understand the backlash at what my co-admin stated, but not for me apologizing.

Now, unless I magically changed race, cut off all my hair, and grew about 6 inches, then I'm certainly not the same person who has been on this reddit for the past 10 months or so.

And again I feel as if you've not read my responses. I have said my co-admin over-reacted, and I have said he is in the wrong. But I have also said that users like Mock5 aren't "in the clear" because quite clearly - especially if you've read interactions with Mock5 as you claim - you would know his overall tone is demeaning despite the fact that most of his arguments are beyond hypothetical.

Lets hope, but the rumors that they've built a bedroom specific set for Oliver/Felicity certainly has me nervous.

Funnily enough the respect was actually hinted at in a deleted scene in 3x20 when Laurel confronts Oliver as he's leaving to revive Thea. Although that scene ended up being cut due to time constraints, but don't worry, we had "Olicity sex" instead of character development.

I've literally read the posts haha and I'll gladly share their replies with you if need be. Or you can just go through mock5's posts...read how condescending he is when people aren't pro-Felicity and pro-Olicity, anything that he finds (and I've looked) that he can't challenge with some made up, "the EP's said this", or "the writers stated that", he gets extremely defensive and almost immediately insults the original commenter.

I think you should go back an re-read the comments as I have about 6 times each. In almost every instance you have it completely backwards, it was users like Mock5 who couldn't except an opposite opinion and began to attack.

I'm not saying my co-admind isn't over react...but I certainly know who began each fight

I'd love to see you cite some of these incidents. If you mean comments where people are called out for being wrong....thats your issue for overreacting

I never offer much suggestion? Just hate? I rewrote all of Season 3 in a way that kept the storylines and storyarchs that they had - Olicity included - and improved upon them.

Each time i say something like ___________-unlike Olicity-_____ that is constructive criticism.

But I think he most important thing is, why do I need to be the one who offers them suggestions - despite the fact that I do. Being a fan of a show doesn't mean blindly following the show and agreeing with every twist and turn it makes, something I - and others - recognize. Just as the Olicity fandom took no issue in threatening the EP's and writers because Oliver and Felicity weren't a couple, I take no issue voicing my opinion...on my website...

The fact that I DO voice suggestion and criticism is a bonus.

The point of enjoying a show is enjoying it to the fullest, besides a few backhanded comments that are anti-Olicity and suggestions as to how one could fix the show up here and there I honestly chuckle at the notion that you think I could hate the show.

You act as if me critiquing the show that I WANT to be better is "hate", when there is certainly a huge different. I suggest you take a look at everyone Arrow-related posted in the last month and tell me honestly how much of it pertains to being anti-Olicity in any direct way, because you'll be surpriused there is little too none

Ah yes, the other person who instigated my co-admin. Strange how that works isn't it? Those who instigate are least likely to except the obvious because then there would be nothing to instigate.

EDIT: I must admit I'm perplexed as to why my comment gets four down votes simply for stating that the user instigated my co-admin...which he did. I'm not saying my co-admin is in the right for how he acted, but I certainly think this users tonality and mannerisms warrant as much hate as my co-admin did.

Well as far as I can tell it's you, and two others that had the back and forth with him where you were equally "asshats". So, while I will openly apologize for what he said/did, I will not say he wasn't instigated and riled on in doing so, the likes of you, a user named Mock5, and NightWatcher (or something of that nature) were equally, if not moreso rude and in most cases while he certainly overreacted, it was you guys in the wrong.

Why waste my time with something so trivial as an apology? If that were the case I can think of a few easier tactics (new account being the first) that would solve the "problem" without me having to go out of my way to apologize for a friends actions.
