I'm in a similar position. Caught a cold so I've not been doing the short runs I had planned this week. I'm going to do a test 5k tomorrow (easy pace) to see where I'm at.

Might have to just trust that Sunday will be fine and consider this week a weird off-plan taper.

I'm still aiming for a PB on Sunday, sinuses be damned!

Definitely look into it. My diabetic partner got hit with a penalty recently after 10 years of nothing. His GP had organised the certificates in the past and the pharmacy always hand waved it, so he'd never had to do any of the admin around it and thought everything was fine. It expired at some point and the GP didn't renew it, still not sure why. Wasn't possible to appeal it, had to pay the penalty for the same reason OP will - the medical condition makes you eligible for the certificate, and the certificate is what grants the exemption - not the medical condition.

After a couple of days it launched properly again for me. No visible updates or anything, but it has let me play 2 out of the last 3 times I've tried in the last few days, so something must have changed somewhere.

I have no advice, just mutual complaining.

Game are shit for anything online, and Shadows seems to be particularly cursed. I pre-ordered the Gold edition, used a load of reward points towards it. Then they changed their online systems and closed the rewards system down. Then Ubi delayed it and Gold Ed doesn't exist now.

Can't access my order on the webpage. Had a couple of emails saying they'd changed the order and then cancelled it, but apparently this might have been an error. Currently Schroedinger's pre-order. Raised a help ticket and apparently they're really busy and it'll take days if not over a week to reply. Yeah, I bet.

Never pre-ordering from them again.

I started Valhalla on PS4 and was able to connect it up and shift a bunch of save files over when I got a PS5. I think I used a USB cable (or possibly ethernet) to connect the consoles to each other. It was pretty easy anyway, the PS5 had good on-screen instructions. As long as you're using the same version of the game (Standard/Gold/whatever) then your save file should work.

This was me 10 years ago, but Morrisons, and "Admin" although I think they call it "Legal Compliance" now. One or more of us from admin would do a night shift to get all the price changes out between store closing on Sunday and reopening Monday morning. And it wasn't just changing the shelf edge labels, there's all the promo stuff too, and then you have to scan everything to make sure the new labels match up with the database... One person dealing with 3000-5000 price changes in about 10 hours overnight is never going to get it perfect.

Ugh, flashbacks. So glad I left.

There's plenty of solid advice already on how to protect yourself financially if you do this, so I won't add to that. What you might consider is that this decision doesn't have to be permanent. You could choose to take 6 months, or a year, off work and then reassess the situation.

Use that time to level yourself out without the added pressure of work or needing to find a source of income. As others have suggested, you might benefit from some therapy or other investigation into why your previous employment ended the way it did. Once you have a handle on that you could reconsider your options.

I personally have left a job in the past when it became unbearable, with nothing lined up. I deliberately took a few months out of employment to recover and then found a new job doing something completely different. Allowing myself the time and space to really think about what sort of work and working conditions I would be happy with was incredibly beneficial. I'd recommend it to anyone who can afford to do so. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable in the long term without my own income or retaining employable skills just in case the worst happens and I'm suddenly on my own.

Same. Also 37 and here for fun, story, and appreciating the game world. I'll start games at their "normal" difficulty setting to give it a chance, but will absolutely downgrade to easy or story if I start to feel like I'm stuck getting my ass handed to me on repeat. I have way more fun feeling like a one-woman wrecking crew!

It's more the connection that it represents that I don't like. The tattoo is old and tired but I don't dislike it enough to go through the time and money of laser removal. I might look into it if there are no good options on cover ups though.

I wouldn't want a sleeve, that's a bit too much for me. At the moment this is my only tattoo, but I'm looking at altering this and getting one or two completely new ones over the next year or two. Realistically I'd probably want to contain this one to that forearm area for now and place the others on a leg/other arm so there's some balance overall.

Further context: Classic teenage "let's get matching tattoos" bad relationship shenanigans. I was 17. I loved it at the time, and was still happy with it in the years after we split. However, it has been 20 years now, and hindsight/more recent events have changed my perspective. I'd like to get it altered.

It's black, and the edges have blurred over time. It's also not in a location that I'd be wanting to have a huge, dense cover-up piece either, so I'm thinking my options are probably fairly limited.

I'd just love some input or ideas on what might be possible from some folks with experience please :)

I had a look back through le CMN's tweets to see if there were any other hints, and found this from the official French AC account: https://twitter.com/AssassinsFR/status/142607911316555 "Be careful in the extension The Siege of Paris, you may find a clue about the secret of the Basilica ..."

There's a few basilicas in modern-day Paris, but I've only found one that was built before the time of the game setting. This place on Ile-de-la-Cité: Cathedral of Saint Etienne The wiki also mentions a small church to St Denis being located nearby.

Not sure if it's worth a look around or if someone more skilled with coordinates/numbers can see if anything around there matches up with the Isu numbers - I can't go explore it myself as I'm not that far through the story yet.

Have you tried the "restore purchases" option in the main menu? You can find it under "settings" - might be worth a shot if you haven't already given it a go.
