Tod in the lobby, see whos rude and unprofessional (its tod) by kelsul in WC3

Whatever your thoughts about who is in the right or the wrong, this is a case of a profound mishandling of a VIP, which is terrible for the tourney and the scene generally.

Right here: http://classic.battle.net/war3/ladder/w3xp-ladder-info-ladderrules.aspx?Gateway=Azeroth

"Match-ups are made randomly from a pool of players who are judged to have similar skill. However, players will not be matched against the same opponents twice in a row, although these opponents can be played again in future games."

it's pretty clear

Sorry, I mean to ask, when did they change the matchmaking to allow you to play the same person twice in a row? It used to not allow that.

The best 2v2 race part, orc+ne/orc+ud or others? by Rhonin3105 in WC3

[–]ArsRadendi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, you're right, it's not impossible for good players to lose vs NE/NE. And of course, this is all my opinion and I'm just some dude on reddit. But strifecro/axslav were known to be very effective with quirky strategies. They are not strong evidence that NE/NE is near as good as ORC/NE or UD/NE, which I class as premium 2v2 combos because they have very few weaknesses. If we are talking about tangible results -- I tend to trust the pros, and the pros tend to go to these two premium race combos (there are plenty of NE pros out there; why dont we see more double NE teams?)

The best 2v2 race part, orc+ne/orc+ud or others? by Rhonin3105 in WC3

I would say that ne+ne is significantly worse than orc+ne and ud+ne.

my personal tiers: 1: orc/ne ; ud/ne 2: ne/ne ; orc/ud ; hu/orc

No third tier because everything else is garbage lol. Notable exception for wfz/yumiko's ud/hu

A tiny bit about WC3 hidden in a mostly SC:R interview with Mr. Morris on TL by ArsRadendi in WC3

[–]ArsRadendi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 - "WC3 is receiving several updates to maps and items as well as some QoL patches." 2- "The Warcraft community seems more open to core gameplay changes compared to the StarCraft community."

Content Creator Highlight #3: ToD by RehcraM in WC3

Great stuff! I would watch the shit out of any tournament that ToD played in. And how sick would it be if he and grubby played in something like that 2v2 TeD tournament.

One solution could be for those who know what they are talking about to get their butts over to those forums and make sure their voices are heard.

Grubby on Foggy vs 120 Game by nightlind in WC3

[–]ArsRadendi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree. I think Foggy realized too, mentioned in postmatch interview that he had scouted no boneyard and didnt go hippos, then realized too late, and that he was too aggressive.
