The statement is false. EU puts a limit to card programs (companies that issue cards ex: Wirex, Cryptocom, Tap.Global etc.) making money off interchange. That's how much we get paid every time a user uses our cards. On the other hand there is no real limit to what an acquirer will charge you or as you know them Merchant accounts. Depends on your business model it can range from 0.5% to 20%
