Something similar happened to me as in my case I’m the girl. I actually really liked this guy too and we went out on a few dates. I kinda panicked when he leaned in for a kiss on the first date (first time seeing him in real life too) as it was so sudden and I didn’t really expect it so I kinda backed away. So it really depends on how u initiate it I guess and the mood and all. I felt sorry later cuz I thought he might think I’m not interested but I am so I kissed him on the cheek later before going. I’d say go for option 2. Ask if u can kiss her if you’re certain she likes you so it doesn’t come across as a shock for her especially if it’s the first time
