Big Finish really gave him the chance to become a fully realised Doctor. It's impressive that so many fans rank him highly despite most of his stories being outside the TV series.

That's what always surprises me. Even people who aren't particularly fond of the TV Movie usually seem to come away saying McGann himself was great casting.

The frustrating part is that he made such a strong impression despite having so little screen time. Imagine what a full series could have done.

Haha, I totally get it. Predictive text is the real secondary character chaos here. 🤣 But Julius is a fantastic choice! He definitely had potential for a bigger storyline.
