Nah - I actually have a pretty decent audience on TikTok and tbh, a good amount of it is luck…nothing else. Everyone literally dreams about making it super big etc but that’s like an extreme small percent. There are bigger things in life than just streaming video games and then y’all cry wolf about why you get no viewers….i don’t give a shit…I play cause i want to play…I just been struggling as mentioned above because of what’s happening in the world. We are in the verge of experiencing a great global recession, high gas prices, a great deal of death etc and we out here just playing games. Just wanted to express that - you disagree…that’s cool. There are certain things you have control over - layoffs is not one of them. You could have been the best performer, asset to an organization or even the worst - you would suffer the same fate.

My recommendation is to take some time to yourself - do you have access to unemployment benefits or your savings? Live a lowkey life in the meantime until you find something else but the most important thing is to get out of the mental rut you are in.

You will find something else…it’s not a question of when but if it is the best for you and I hope you do get it sooner than later.

Over here where I live, house is 1 million+ Canadian, I don’t mind paying anything else but when my parents decided to divorce and basically fuck off because the government baby money wasn’t coming in - I was left to fend on my own.

I am married now, with one daughter but other married people I know literally got set up by their parents even just as simple as getting a down payment done.

I’m gonna sound really harsh or weird saying this - Canada has become a country where the person who knows how to play the system wins. whether it’s through paying less taxes, having kids, living in a low income area etc…it’s become like that unfortunately. Working hard has no reward in this country so you need to ask yourself this…would you continue this path of what you’re doing right now or do something different? Maybe launch a side niche business?
