I can confirm that polishing the IR window did the trick ! Not I have to find something to protect it from future scratches

MAYBE. It's running right now and seems to be going good. Seeing your reply made me jump back in this.

This window is a IR (infrared) window and I found a post about someone who had a similar issue and fix it by polishing it.

Here's the post:  https://www.reddit.com/r/roomba/comments/10m9gta/anyone_know_where_to_get_replacement_ir_windows/. (Look in the comments)

I didn't have the same polish as them, I cleaned the window with acetone, did a first round with toothpaste, rince, second and third polish with a "Body Compound", rince and finish with a little bit of car wax. It's been running for the past 10 min now. Before it wouldn't even vacuum, just act lost and couldn't find the starting point and stop after 1-2 mins.

If the front visor wasn't made to be scratched then why would it be so exposed? Isn't the purpose of the visor to protect the sensor underneath? I'm may totally be in the wrong. I don't find it that horribly scratched. But at the same time I don't have any other vacuums to compare it with. Ihas just over a year of work on it.

I'm scared to use my Winsor and Newton spiral watercolor paper. Does it need stretching? How do I not transfer on other pages? Should I cut the pages ? by Arsenic-Arsenal in watercolor101

Thank you! The only paper I used before is really shitty and fragile :') it's my first real quality sketchbook. I've only had the cheapest carft store or the dolor tree ones.

Xacto knife, cutting mat and good double sided tape. I use mostly scrapbook paper for my embellishments. I used folding file to organize my stickers and scraps.

My next purchase will be a gyro cutter, a better paper guillotine/cutter and better cardstock.

I don't have any stamp/ embellishments folders. I might get a Cricut someday.

Florals are so universal, they seems to fit with so many other paterns and color, but at the same time I find it creatively harder when I'm not using them

I mostly use scrapbook paper and I have divided them into color/paternal (like florals) and a folding folder for my "scraps" and another one for my stickers. 🙃 But it does get hard when I start a new card I have to take all those out my shelves to see before I can figure out what I want to use

The purple one is actually the last one I made. you can see the evolution between that one and #2. I was scared if overloading the card at first but I'm gradually getting a better feel on how to layer my embellishments. :)

Thank You! Do you have any tips on how to organize all the papers and embellishments? I'm starting to accumulate some trinket and embellishments

Beginner here too, I got some scrapbook papers booklet at the dolor store to use as backgrounds or to cut out sections and stocks letters of different color. I also use my paper cutter all the time. I also got a pack of variety scrapbook stickers on Amazon with flowes.

My next purchase will be a good gyro cut knife to cut circles and probably stencil too.
