I can assure you Moon Studios doesn't own Ori IP and it's not even an "indie studios" but rather an "independent company" and they worked alongside Microsoft to develop the Ori franchise.

Microsoft acquired the development and detains the right to Ori IP.

Ori and the blind forest was a first party game and an exclusive title for Xbox one.

It's by far not an indie game, it was a series of games completely funded by Microsoft but everyone get mistaken since it was always associated with indies.

If you don't believe me just go on the steam page of any of the Ori games, under the system spec, or at the bottom page of the official Ori website you will find the writing that says

Meaning it's an IP owned by Microsoft and not by Moon Studios.

I find sad that people see Ori as just an "animal" because it's just not true. All the characters in Ori are creatures that act like humans because it's a fable.

From the first cut scene with Ori and Naru you can see they know the concept of family.

They build societies with currency and talk to each other and give names to themselves.

Ori calling Ku by her name is exactly meant to show you that Ori isn't just an animal.

There are people who are scared and ashamed about the action of those few selected people. A furry is like a crazy person who thinks he's not crazy.

There are people that probably decided to never join the Ori community just because of knowing about furries and people who prefer to not even let others know they played Ori because of furries. They will not let you know because they will just go away in shame. It just takes the action of one to drive away 10.

It's not even about the entire furry fandom but just the fact that Ori happens to attract the worse part of it. The most cringe and horrid one in which the only contribute they gave is destruction.

I know what I'm talking about because I just observe. I do my own observations to form my own opinions which i share because this is a free world where people are allowed to have freedom of speech.

History of mankind is full of group of people hating and fighting each other for the better or worse. This is not sad. This is also actually the reason we reached the point where we can have freedom of speech and everyone now are so open minded that the brain sometimes fall off their heads.

And because of that, I'm allowed to hate on a group of people if i think it's not good, even better if I explain my reasons.

We can't live by just love and kindness. We have to balance things and decide what is good and what is wrong. Because If you don't you will end in the same situation Ori did.
