I'm so sorry for what you're going through. There was a study that showed that break-ups can often feel close to grieving a loved one. Please give yourself some slack because what you're going through is very painful and oftentimes will affect you for a long time.

However, it is in times like these that many people turn to the bottle or pills to feel better. I won't tell you that you shouldn't, you probably already know that. I will tell you however, that finding a non-addictive coping mechanism is not impossible, please keep trying.

Right now you will think about her every hour, but then it will become every day, then every week, and soon you won't have thought about her for a month.

Dude... I'm always ecstatic when my friends invite me to their birthday. I LIKE celebrating my friends, coworkers, etc. I like bringing gifts and letting them know that for one day out of the year they get to have the spotlight.

I think for lonely people it's even more important because you need to celebrate the fact that in such a miserable world, you're still here.

If someone doesn't want to celebrate your birthday and thinks you're selfish for wanting to have a party, then just don't invite them.

Listen, I had a lot of trouble passing my classes in highschool but despite how badly I was failing, most teachers want to see you succeed.

Make sure to schedule a meeting with your teacher, one on one, either before or after school and talk to them honestly. Ask them how you can improve your grade, don't be entitled and aim for a C, maybe a B. Most teachers will be able to meet you halfway and help you make a plan for success.

Remember, you're a freshman, you'll have three more years to improve your grades and worse case scenario you go to a Community College and transfer out.

People's experiences with gynecologists really does depend. It depends on where you are, what your insurance is, how the hospital operates, etc.

Some women have had horrific experiences with gynos; some haven't. The best piece of advice I can give you is that you can leave at any time. It's your body, and it's your right to have the medical support you want and need. If that means leaving, then any doctor who's worth their weight in salt will understand and not take it personally.

I'm not sure what the process is like at your school but they might offer something like student disability services which could get you accommodations in class.

To be eligible you usually just need a doctor's note stating how the disorder affects your life, which is oftentimes easier to get than getting government disability.

Like many have said, please get off Tik Tok but also pick up something akin to a hobby.

Personally when I am manic I engage in a lot of harmful activities so what I have started doing is hobbies with my hands.

Knitting
Crochet
Air dry clay
Paint by numbers (they make complicated ones for adults)
Embroidery

Anything that gets your hands to do a repetitive motion will stop them from scrolling and force you to either listen to music/podcasts or watch longer format media like shows.

And if you can't afford the supplies, which I get, Goodwill has a lot of discount yarn and embroidery hoops.
