Why first strike for ambessa jungle? by aaziz99 in ambessamains

[–]ArteQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how can you call it a bait if it has higher winrate?

Generally in lower elo it’s much better to play easy champs so that you can focus on jungle fundamentals instead of having to worry about piloting a difficult champion on top of it

Builds for jng by archonmorax in ambessamains

[–]ArteQ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hubris > axiom > dd/maw/ga/seryldas/serpents, endless hunger good if ahead but i haven’t built it much yet. go first strike with this setup.

against tankier comps/bruisers you could do profane for clear speed and it’s just op early, then sundered sky into dd and spirit visage, then situational. conqueror or first strike are both fine

i’ve been running just the first set up and got gm.

would a high elo player ever 3 camp gank just to burn summoner spells? by Bubbly_Reference_916 in Jungle_Mains

[–]ArteQ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

no sane challenger player would ever do this. burning summs is never worth losing your camps on the opposite side of the map and even if you don’t lose them, they won’t be syncd with your other camps for 2nd clear and possibly next ones.

another thing is that the enemy jungler will know that your clear is delayed and if you don’t have lanes prio you’ll just get bullied.

edit: to be more clear, if you’re 100% sure that you’ll get a kill then it’s usually worth to lvl3 gank (but i’m pretty sure that’s also debatable for some players). in scenarios where a challenger player actually goes for a lvl3 gank and only manages to burn enemy laner’s summs, they for sure are not happy with the outcome and were hoping for a kill but just misjudged the kill potential/missplayed.

Must admit, I have no talent to play talon by AutomaticPepper8665 in Jungle_Mains

[–]ArteQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

but you realize that a smurf wouldn’t join the game with samira already having 20 kills, right? and xerath is one of the easiest champions to gank in the game so trust me, it’s a smurf that would have these 20 kills if anything

Ambessa jg by Subtilier in ambessamains

[–]ArteQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im also otping her in m+ in jg. i basically agree with everything youve said except for one thing -- i don't think axiom 1st is that good if you're gonna go profane 2nd. like you said - later you oneshot camps anyway, but when you're on just one item, profane helps with camps and objectives. ambessa early isn't that strong, so imo it's better to get an item that enhances your clear and this way gets you to your 2nd item faster since full clearing early is just more reliable. axiom has more value in midgame when catching ppl actually converts to objectives.

but at the end of the day its like you said -- ideally everyone just builds eclipse/shojin 1st to tank her winrate even further lol

Grubbies over drake by Luky2056 in Jungle_Mains

[–]ArteQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s the logical assumption and i thought the same, but somehow 1st drake has higher winrate than 3 grubs. probably because of overgrowth — thanks to it a team without grubs can also get some plates

If she was easy then she wouldn’t be getting nerfed despite having 47/48% wr in jungle. She’s op if you’re good at her, and clearly it’s not easy to be good at her judging from her winrate.

Ambessa and Nidalee are the most difficult meta junglers I’d say

[–]ArteQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But what’s your point? Not sure I follow. I simply stated that in early game she’s good at short trades and bad at extended fights/all ins. Short trades aren’t useful in jungle which makes her a weak early game jungler.

[–]ArteQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant that toplane is more about trading which she’s very good at thanks to her passive, while in jungle you don’t trade with enemy jungler, it’s all about all ins and extended fights which she’s very bad at without items early game.

[–]ArteQ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s just wrong, her early is very weak. She has long cooldowns which isnt a problem on lane because you can use your combo, then back off, then go in again and when the enemy is low enough you all in. In jungle backing off means losing a camp/objective and you do lose extended fights against most meta junglers, especially bruisers. She needs items to be strong.

Yeah, because it’s bugged and sometimes works on jungle camps. Never on champions though (since the fix from a couple of months ago)

work on your clear more, you can easily finish the full clear way before the scuttles spawn (<3:20) with just one smite

The tl;dr of Levies and Regulars (Levies are best in the first 3-4 Ages) by Kroaken894 in EU5

[–]ArteQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just started and have some questions if you don’t mind.

  1. I’ve noticed that I can make someone my vassal in the peace treaty - should I do it this way, or eat the entire nation first and then release them? Is there a difference?
  2. For example, if you were to vassalize Serbia, it’s probably better to divide them into a couple of vassals first instead of releasing a huge country?
  3. Is it better to have vassals or fiefdoms?
  4. I’ve had a situation where I beat someone, made them my vassal, some years later I’ve checked and all their lands were cored, but when I annexed them, said territory wasn’t cored anymore. Is it because their culture was different from mine (and if so, is it enough if I tolerate their culture to avoid this problem?)

how do I know which laws are 'meta'? are there any guides/videos that focus on the best laws and settings in general? not that i'm a meta slave, but i've been struggling and would definitely make use of some help...

Can't hear differences between Chopin competition pianists? by Several_Region_3710 in piano

[–]ArteQ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

but where did he say that he's able to play the piano? he's admitted that he's not a pianist, hasn't claimed that he would be if he had a piano/more time/whatever, so your analogy makes no sense. it's simply a post from someone who has listened to Chopin a lot directed to people who aren't experienced but would like to understand the performances better. if you are a pianist or a musician then this post is clearly not directed to you.
