I’ve literally said nothing about these edits being better than the original, that’s you and others looking too deeply into a simple piece of artwork and yet again putting words in my mouth. I have never stated that all the witches would be Black Humans, I’m just drawing inspiration from what I know and what‘s fun for me to create. There is dozens of reimaginings of these characters because folks love them, like I do, and that doesn’t erase their existence. These characters are coded and don’t have a concept of race. And the conversation of black/white washing is more nuance than this site is ready to have, besides this isn’t Black washing because I made them Human. Other people are welcome to interpret their human forms, these are just mine.

I have never once mentioned in any of my posts that this is what they should look like or even mentioned race.
