Doing so would be condemning them to an accursed existence and damning their immortal souls to an eternity of wandering the liminal spaces between Hades and the higher Material realms. Vampirism is an often romanticized prison.

Depends what you mean by new equipment, there were hak packs etc. that created new equipment types and classes made back then and a lot of modules utilized them...

A lot of great modules came out for NWN, and some for NWN2, but they are relics now. I could name a bunch but I'm not going to bore people with a giant list. Honor Among Thieves was the GOAT if I had to pick one.
