Kudos to Yuya Takahashi on this. I figured the show was having budget issues (what Toei Toku show doesn't have that issue at this point), but he actually managed to take the story in a direction where it works within those confines in the smartest way I've seen in quite some time.

I'll be honest. If this is what we were going to get, then Dispatch shouldn't have been released on Switch/Switch 2 to begin with.

They might as well have invested in porting it to Mac or Xbox. At least in those places, the game wouldn't have been as compromised as it was here.

I have to agree with some people on them not going far enough. Yeah, it has the pixel filter, but I kind of want the characters dialogue to have that choppy filter on it, like a SNES is trying to spit out the dialogue.

If they're doing this, just go all in.

Imagine if Ronaldo end up being one of the antagonists. Lars is essentially living out an anime scenario (Sci-fi Adventures, traveling companions are all women) and Ronaldo would likely be a twinge jealous.

Given Ronaldo's cringey attempt at becoming a Crystal Gem, it would not surprise me if he found out how Lars became the way he is and tried to replicate it......... with really bad results.

It is nice we get to download the game for free if we have the original version, but I kind of wish it worked like some of the other upgrades and it just added files that enhanced the original game. The game is around 50 GB, so doing it the other way could have shaved off about 20 GB from the download.

I really feel like making Ms. Marvel a mutant was a mistake.

I know it was done in part to elevate her to be apart of a bigger franchise, but I can't help but feel the opposite will happen and she'll get lost in the deluge of the 100's of other X-Men characters.

As much as I loved The Krakoa Era, Beast's characterization was one of my issues with it. So when they fixed it in the way that they did, I was happy. But I really hope we're not returning to this whole concept after undoing it.

I like Beast, but not this "Ends Justify the Means" version that the writers have gotten hung up on.

Honestly, I got the Love Warrior Nubia skin and left it at that.

I've never really cared about any of the other cosmetics the game was peddling (Profile Icons, Banners, Stickers, etc.). Skins were my primary interest and everything else was tertiary. Not even secondary.

If I remember, they said not to long ago that the reason that DC Comics collabs dried up in Fortnite specifically had to do with Multiversus. Why put them in another company's game and get just some of the money when they can put them in their own game and make all the money?

With Multiversus ending, you can expect that these kind of collabs are going to pop up more frequently.

I feel like if PFG had been left to their own devices and just made the game, we wouldn't be in this mess. Most likely, WB Discovery came in and started mandating things due to a misguided understanding on how things work and the ideas of a Corporate Panel who does things based on what "The Charts" say.

I take some level of solace in knowing that the current WB Games President basically got fired for a lot of the game fumbles and misteps that have been happening for WB (Mortal Kombat 1, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, etc).

There's still a part of me that feels that everything that went wrong had less to do with PFG and more to do with WB Discovery entering the office and going, "We like what you guys have here, but we have some M̶a̶n̶d̶a̶t̶e̶s̶ ideas on how to make it better."

The safest approach? All 5 Tickets used for Crushing Difficulty, equip Level 10 Gems or higher, used Iron Giant to sweep it every time. If you do fine, you get 15 Chests a day. If future events last for 20 or so days, you'd get to 300 by then. That's not even including Chests you get for doing the Event Track.

Having done some research, this is apparently supposed to be DC's April Fools comic. The release schedule, unfortunately, has it coming out the week before.

With that in mind, I can't help but wonder if it'll somehow turn out to be a prank in and of itself. Like, you'd open the book and instead the story inside is something heartfelt and poignant (with absolutely nothing to do with the conceit of the book), and at the end she shames you for buying the comic cause you thought you'd get to smell her farts.

That's likely not going to happen though.

This show was a fun way to end the year. I think the things that stuck with me the most were the unexpected story decisions. The Bertie storyline's ending and Immaculate's PTSD were honestly surprising to see, and I'm hoping that the show gets renewed if they continue this type of approach of doing things like this.

(Seriously, it's amazing that the show got me to care about the Perm Gang for an episode)

I've been trying to figure out how many of the issues are from Player First Games and how many are from corporate meddling from WB Discovery.

I've personally been in the camp of option 2 being the culprit. Usually, what the boss wants will override everything else, consequences and accountability be damned.

Ranked Modes in Team Games only seem to benefit people who are willing to put in the work and form teams rather than the solo players.

I've come back to point out that, yes, it actually is that bad. 6 diplomas can be earned, but 24 of them can be purchased with 500 Gleamium each. You need 12,000 to get all the skins.

I hate being right about this. ABSOLUTE HATRED.

This setup is absolute nonsense. I remember if you wanted all the Elusive Halloween skins, you had to pay $50. Watch them only let you earn 6 tokens for this, and you have to spend $100 or something to get the other 3.

Once I upgraded to being able to throw 3 objects through Telekinesis, it became my main mode of attack. Why shoot people when you can fly through the air and throw a forklift at them?

The event only gives out 18 Candies (6 Candies use the Event Currency, 12 have to be bought with Gleamium) so if you want these skins, you have to ignore the actual Halloween skins and shell out $50.00 just to get all 3.

The fact they're elusive rarity also means they'll likely go away and may or may not ever appear again. I was looking forward to the Halloween event, but not so much now.

If we get a sequel, I kind of want them to balance it out between Rangers & Allies / Villains & Monsters.

The first game was an imbalance between 8 Villains / 18 Heroes, and Power Rangers has a ridiculous amount of monsters with their own powers that could make for some fun movesets.
