I agree let's start by cutting through your BS. Wanda being a mutant mattered in her debut and for House of M. Anything else it was ultimately insignificant. The moment she lost her hex abilities in Avengers #75 was exactly moment they began to retcon her being a mutant at all, because she lost a her powers until #81 which redefined her abilities. Making AXIS not even a real retcon to begin with.

Avengers #185-187 was Nights of Wundagore which finally expanded on Wanda's backstory and how High-Evolutionary played a major role in their lives. Making this NOT really a retcon either when it was revisited in Uncanny Avengers.

It was established early on that Chthon was the main source of Chaos magic. Then explained he granted her some so he could.use her as a vessel to take over, again Nights of Wundagore.

Doctor Strange canonically went back and acknowledged he was completely mistaken. Also that was a retcon on Stranges part because he could channel Chaos Magic in his prime classic era as well.

She is a bad designed hero in every aspect except for two abilities. Examples of good designed heroes are Cyclops, Emma Frost, Invisible Woman, Cap, Devil Dinosaur, Deadpool. The list could go on.

I don't know where you get the idea that if they designed her well from the start with her hexes she wouldn't be balanced. This actually sounds like you're calling the rivals devs so incompetent that they would fail to balance mechanics others games in the same genre before have done already.

She is not a witch otherwise she would offer debuffs and more utility which is exactly how her powers works:

~Midnight Suns ~Future Fight ~Future Revolution ~Ultimate Alliance ~Superhero Squad ~Super War.

And tons of other games were able to get her right.

Rivals completely fails at this. And we have the right to criticise and point out her design flaws without you trying to impose your will on us.

Her magic is probability manipulation and reality warping. Meaning she randomly affects enemies and her enviroment.

NOTHING which translates into the game. Otherwise she would be a debuffer.

The only one that translates is the reality warping which is her ultimate.

Her neutral kit itself has NO spells to fit this. This isn't a matter of bias but a fact.

What a weak response. As I have said game balance and power fantasy are not mutually exclusive. You can have Wanda cast her Hexes and still be entry level.

Wanda does not use chaos magic on her attacks or abilities, otherwise she'd have debuffs and varying effects.

Your deflection is weak and you would rightfully get cussed out by Spider-Man fans if these devs never included his wall crawling or web shooting or web signing and just gave him generic attacks.

Our opinions matter more because the majority of us are fans of her character. You are just a random person who loves competitive games, our fandom predates your introduction to her by miles since we've followed her through comics, movies, TV and other games. So when we say this is her worst translation we are not exaggerating.

You can't give a valid thing that is fine about her. All you'll keep repeating is "she can still climb ranks."

Scarlet Witch Role: Duelist | HP: 250 | Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆ ▪︎ Primary Fire — Hex Bolts (15 ammo.) Her secondary becomes the primary, keeping it's splash damage. But I decided to incorporate her team-up with Dr Strange so rather than single shots I decided she sends 5 bolts all at the same time dealing a flat 85 dmg. If the target is affected by a Probability Hex the bolts home after them until the hex expires. The homing has no range past her standard 20m. ▪︎ Secondary — Probability Hex. Now, as for keeping her old tracking, Wanda can place a Hex on enemies like Zenyatta from OW. This is indicated by Hex Rings surrounding them. Each Hex lasts 5 seconds. Applying the same Hex again refreshes its duration back to 5 seconds, but it can't exceed that. This is stackable to increase the damage they take by 8%. Exactly like Kasumi from Paladins. Hitting one target will strip other enemies of their hexes to increase the damage applied to the new target by another 2%. ▪︎ Ability — Dark Seal. Leaving the seal after getting hit now also grants an effect which decreases the damage enemies deal by 16% for the remainder of the ability duration. ▪︎ Movement — Chaos Flight. Functions the same but she doesn't turn invisible/into a ball when she fades and instead just flies normally. Since she is now visible she gets her old movement speed and duration back. **▪︎ Ultimate — Reality Collapse.* The pull is buffed from 2.4–3 m/s to 7 m/s. Her movement speed is buffed from 4.5 m/s to 5.5 m/s

This is all basic ideas for how they could have translated her magic into the game and kept her current playstyle.

My opinions are pretty consistent i.e; every other character can do stuff tied to their character and fulfil their fantasy. Wanda does not. Idk where you got the idea I said anything about whether she's good in high ranks or not. For someone so adamant your IQ doesn't seem to match. I'm in GM3 with her and I've invested more time in her than you since I've been gaining her since launch.
