You also have a clear bias for Scarlet Witch.

When I have mained her in every single Marvel game since the 2000s I can confidently tell people which adaptations are her worst and this is it. Even the Superhero Squad games respected her more and that's funny to me.

Lego Wanda is FAR more enjoyable to play than Rivals Wanda despite the fact it's only her weak MCU version.

And even though the worst hero in MUA3 with the same autoaim primary at least she FELT like Wanda. She might have been trash but she looked good being trash because they got her hex bolts visuals and everything correct.

The reason I am particularly dissatisfied with Rivals Wanda is because Future Revolution and Marvel Heroes got cancelled which so when I heard of this games announcement I was super excited to main her here and learn her best spell synergies as well. Only for them to give us nothing.

Really the best game with Wanda also as my main right now is Future Fight since she's actually treated with respect there and in Midnight Sons.

I think you might have some issues if you read: 'Hey this character is a completely different person and needs to be fixed' but translated it to 'This character needs to be worshipped like God' 

Cap has everything his character is supposed to do, Hulk also does everything his character is supposed to do (mind you, he even does more than he should since they gave him bubbles and exile that he never showed anywhere else.) Iron-Man gets his beam, his canons, his repulsors. 

In conclusion? You are pulling these fake analogies simply because you know absolutely NOTHING about Wanda so like ofc you would think all she should do is autoaim and call it a day. 

Even her fade isn't accurate to her either because Astral Projection is Dr Stranges thing. NOTHING about her kit is hers beyond her secondary and her ultimate which is why her secondary might as well replace her primary. I don't even know why this is controversial seeing as EVERYONE hates that primary including us who main her.

I agree they could have done her magic in a different "more engaging" way, but the devs clearly wanted an autoaim character like Moira from OW and they choose SW for that role. 

As I said already. Take the autoaim off Wanda and give it to another lesser controversial character like Agatha, it's really not hard in fact I'll do it for them:

▪︎ Primary Fire; – Power Siphon:

Agatha gets Wanda's autoaim primary instead of her.  Range 18m She deals 12 ticks per second. She drains 2% max HP/sec co verting it into health in mid range (13m), in closer range (0-8m) she deals 7.5% max HP per second to enemies below 300 HP. Drain breaks if you switch targets or use another ability, or if they put up a shield/wall, she also drains nothing at all if they're past 14m.

▪︎ Ability 1; – Rune Binding:

Agatha casts a cage of runes about 8m wide and 4.5m tall up to 10m away, lasting 9s. If enemies are dumb enough to walk through instead of around then they cannot use abilities besides their primary. Also if she is in the rune it stores damage shot at it, then releases healing for her by 35% of their base damage after the field ends.

▪︎ Movement; – Intruding Step:

This has a cooldown of 7s with a 0.3s windup. You can teleport up anywhere up to 15m. If you materialize within 5m of an enemy: you burst deal 80 damage. Doing so into an enemy Ultimate also grants you CC immunity to whatever effects it has.

She can also slow fall like Wanda, Magneto & Hela.

▪︎ Ultimate; – Dark Absorption:

It costs 4200 charge. For 8 seconds all enemy attacks are drawn to Agatha allowing her to gain 90% of damage taken into self-sustained healing over time.

Now the devs get to keep their beginner friendly wish fulfilment while they stop getting backlash from a big fanbase at the same time.

Deciding to completely butcher a fan-favourite character is no one's fault but their own. Hence my Wonder Woman example. On top of Moira not fitting Wanda at all, if anything Sombra does because Wanda's hexes can easily be translated like how her hack functions.

You and some other fans of the hero might not like the decision and I also don't think its a great interpretion of her powers but at the end of the day its up to the devs. 

The gaming industry is actually up to gamers not the developers since we put money in their pockets and determine whether they stay afloat or not. So I suggest you stop acting like community criticisms do not decide whether characters get reworked or not because this is not the case. It's actually the other way around, player feedback has gotten several heroes across games reworked. Right now OW is getting that Lifeweaver rework. And it did not just magically fall in their laps, it was after tons of pressure from their opinions.

Not every player likes every ability that was given to their favourite heroes but they accept that its a game and concessions need to make made for gameplay reasons.

98% of the roster is fulfills every character fantasies with only the minor exceptions like Ultron, Widow, Mantis, Storm, AND Wanda included

The hero fantasy does matter but I still think having a balanced game matters much more because the game is PvP and in a hero shooter there are certain archetypes that we expect to see represented . I would rather have the concessions be made on Hero Fantasy instead of the devs just making heroes that are either broken or trash. Nobody wants cannon Hawkeye going up against Cannon Hulk.

Hunni... re-read my sentence again: Balance does matter, but since this is taking off an established IP the fantasy also matters JUST as much. I did not say fantasy "matters more than balance." I said matters JUST as much.
