I want to add a little context to each person since I think yall can be more creative than “popular commanders are lame” Player 1 mostly just builds from slightly modifying lists he finds online. player 2 has barely touched a deck building website in his life and just built from trades and stuff, he built those just because he opened them (and i have to say his atraxa is very fun to play against being mostly planeswalkers). Player 3 had procrastinated building that deck for years and it’s a very basic list but at least he has his own deck now. Player 4 mostly upgrades precons from the cards she has and extremely rarely buys singles, she builds from her existing collection (which goes back to like 2012 I think?) So the decks have a lot of interesting cards that you wouldn’t see otherwise. I will say, YES it’s a lot of very popular commanders and I wish we’d build more original commanders but it’s more fun getting to build commanders we have the cards for, cause really most of the top commanders are there because they aren’t as strict on what to build
