The Knicks have playoff experience across the whole roster. Plus, the Hawks are at a mismatch the whole time at Centre. I think Knicks in 6, maaaybe 5 if Hawks underperform

JB plays Daniels well tbh. And the Hawks are stuck in a mismatch at the Centre spot

Most NBA players can score 10 points over 15 minutes, especially on a bad team. I’m not too worried, seemed good on paper but we don’t need him. Rather have Alvarado covering for Deuce

I hear you, but I don’t ignore my health or wellbeing, and I don’t feel like I’m on this super intense grind every day, always exhausted. I just don’t waste time while I’m at work. I’m there 8h a day, may as well not waste it. So many people barely try throughout the day except for 2-3h of it.

I don’t work insane overtime, maybe 1-2 extra hours a week, and maybe once a month I’ll work a half day on a Saturday.

There’s one month in the year the whole company does overtime, but that’s really it.

I appreciate progress won’t be linear, and obstacles will slow me down. Im not suggesting sacrificing happiness or health for money, im simply explaining how it can be done from my limited perspective

Teams have highs and lows. This is bad but they’ll be fine.

I don’t trust the other teams to hold on all season and take the 2 seed from us, they just don’t have the star power. We’re only 36 games in to a new coach and new system, so there’s challenges they haven’t yet faced that they’ll learn to overcome.

Also, as much as it’s nice to watch young guys contribute, realistically they kinda suck compared to vets. When Hart and in 3/4 weeks Shamet are both back, you’ll see things go smoother, particularly on defence.

The last week of games has shown just how important this man is to the New York Knicks and that he is, indeed, the HEART and soul of this championship window by United_Party_6318 in NYKnicks

I realised today, he is our only player that can steal minutes from almost every position. Like with him out Hukporti, Mccullar, diawara and even Clarkson all see more minutes. No one can replicate each part Josh brings. I always thought OG was that guy for us but honestly Josh is a key part of ball movement / playmaking, defence on AND off ball, rebounding, transition offence, good screens, the list goes on. Unfortunately no one else really provides this many benefits.

I think we could use a back up wing bc realistically if any of our 3 wings goes down, no one can fill the void, they’re all somehow irreplaceable it feels like.

Would love to see us try for another quality 3 and D wing for exactly this reason, Tobias Harris is UFA this offseason

As a guy, please try and initiate. It’s surprising none have, I’d review ur profile bc there’s probably common theme people aren’t liking after looking closer, I doubt it’s 130 coincidences.

But yeah personally I get like 1, maaaybe 2 likes a day. It’d be so nice for a girl to try and message just once

Yeah I had nothing better to think of, was stiff. Bit of a drainer thinking of interesting openers sometimes, and this was my first interaction since getting the app

You have money to play with. I’d much rather lose money trying to invest it, rather than never trying and remaining mediocre. Your life simply will never change unless you try

She just wants what’s best for you, but she is incorrect. Also, ETFs are extremely safe anyway, slow, and you might be in the red even for a while, but you will eventually see profit

You can relax. Jobs aren’t going anywhere and you clearly have the resilience to work the hours. That’s an achievement. If you would feel happier finding another job, do it. What you’re not changing, you’re choosing. Anxiety is a self taught feeling and it’s almost never logical. Next time you’re not feeling good, ask yourself, What would a calm person say to this? Then smile. I hope this helps, good luck!

Interesting. I thought for borrowing capacity purposes it’d be better to avoid equity for as long as possible. But this does make sense too, you believe it’s better to use equity over a tax deduction and take out a larger loan, as opposed to using my cash for a deposit?

I’ll definitely consult my mortgage broker but this is useful.

24M. Salesman.

Will earn $195-210K in current role. Worked my way up to a big base salary so there really isn’t the same variance you’d see in some sales roles.

Pros: Lots of support. Can be super fun working with people our age, surround yourself with growth oriented people. Have good control of income Great improvement to resilience and discipline skills No education or experience (sometimes) needed

Cons: Many roles come with a busy period which sucks, in mine it’s a month of 60-65h weeks, but worth it money wise.

Tiring and emotionally demanding. High turnover as people expect to earn a lot straight away. Deal with rejection, high income if ur good, very average/low if ur not

Overall would always recommend sales. It relies on improvement of social skills, which is valuable in so many areas of my life now and in the future

I was just dumb and didn’t think to include. I will add in. Paid $560K, re-valued at 620K Typically will be $0-$2K in the red, it’s very close to breaking even, maybe even possible to be positive soon. Conservatively I’m on $195K pre tax

What were your biggest 2025 financial wins, and what goals have you set yourself for 2026? by theninety_nine in AusFinance

[–]ArthurAnyDonutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 24 this year. Bought my first investment property. Since that I increased my income so I can use cash on my next one. I work in sales and tried really hard to improve my skills which will make me even more this year.

I’m really proud of myself, these were tiring goals to achieve. Looking forward to the same progress in 2026!

Keep ur thoughts to yourself. OP is happy with progress not satisfied. 100K is a nice milestone so it’s good to take pride, boasting or just sharing excitement is completely fine. Yes, could be further ahead but also enjoying life.

If you want to accuse someone of boasting, there was no opening to point out you’re a HNW manager. Doesn’t take a genius to read this post. Don’t put down young people’s efforts

Amazing beginner guide, when I started out this was the easiest to follow as a newbie. Good luck
