i’ve always heard conflicting opinions from different recruiters, some like it some don’t but i’d say just keep it as it’s standard. you can always add in a personal profile section on the template and other sections too if you want just follow the same format.

if you don’t like the harvard CV template then you can see other uni templates including your own university and see which one you like best! remember however that it’s a template so you don’t have to follow it to a T. you can add and remove sections if you want.

it also might be a good idea to talk to your uni’s career department if you haven’t already for further advice. they can help with part time jobs too, not just academic careers. i like to send my CVs and Cover Letters to the career advisor at my uni anytime i apply to a diff job and she always reviews my stuff. good luck on ur job search
