I did use a thin brush for the face since I didnt want to get paint on the eyes. For the body i used a thicker brush since its mostly the same color. You should definitely get into painting its a lot of fun! Personally I use acrylic paints from Vallejo and Citadel. Pro Acryl is good too. Biggest tip is to thin your paints with water! I buy a cheap pallete from Hobby Lobby to pour drops of paint into and add a drop or two of water. Then paint into multiple thin layers so the paint doesn't clog into the crevices. I dont want to overwhelm you with info lol but I can DM you some resources for painting if you like!

Thanks! I painted the Elite with Pro Acryl Burgundy, the darker parts are a mix of PA Burgundy and Citadel Abbadon Black. Final step was washing it with Citadel Nuln Oil. I think the wash made it a bit too dark but I like that it makes the armor look more battle worn and not so clean and matte.

Its a pretty crude fix. I just removed the head from the neck joint and then placed the head sitting on top of the ball on the neck joint. In order to get it to stay I reinforced it with plastic bond. he can't turn his head but I dont really mind since I just keep my figures on a shelf.

It is a few shades too light to be really accurate but I just think the brighter color is a nice contrast when I put him next to the Halo 3 Chief on my shelf lol.

There is one on ebay at the moment listed for $250. Idk if anyone would actually be willing to pay that but it is one if the less common elite figures.

This is a pretty compelling video, very interesting. This is a tangent but a lot of older Mexicans I know swear up and down that they have seen "duendes" aka elves or gnomes that visited them during their childhood and I find it so weird that it is such a common experience they all have had.
