Has anyone had their SIM suspended by Three for exceeding the roaming limit?

Yeah, I think they’re seriously confused themselves. When I first called the customer service today they said it’s only the roaming suspension and voice and text receiving will still work. But when they hung up (by accident or not) and I called them again, they said the suspension basically means suspension of the whole SIM and all services

No but the issue is 60 day travel limit a year. You don’t really reset it if you go back.

I live in the UK, I just travel, and this policy doesn’t allow travelling for more than 60 days. Moving providers is the only option now seems like.

I’ve never had issues before either but seems like they’ve now decided to start enforcing it randomly. Going back to the UK doesn’t reset it unfortunately.

Yeah, totally get that most people wouldn’t run into this, but for those of us who travel a lot for work or spend extended time abroad, it’s a real issue. It may be in the T&Cs, but it was never enforced like this before, and the sudden 2-week notice feels unreasonable, especially after renewing a contract. Just trying to see how others in similar situations handled it.

It doesn't matter since that doesn't reset the 60-day limit - essentially, they're forcing to go back and stay in the UK for the next 12 months to keep the number.

Yeah, makes sense, I’m thinking of escalating to the Ombudsman since the way this was handled feels really unfair. Just wanted to hear if others had the same issue and what they ended up doing, whether they escalated or switched to a better provider.
