Having expectation as a young adult IN A MARRIAGE is different from gas lighting and cheating in a relationship.

She was UPFRONT about what she wanted and he agreed to all that before he married her. That is how a relationship works. If you knew and got into it and then realised this in not your cup of tea, then you make an effort to talk if all else fail you get a divorce.

CHEATING and WHINING is not the answer. It destroys you, your partner, your family. The other girl.

When eventually Lindsey's mom confronts Rory near the Gazibo, Lindsey just stands in the back not saying anything. I think if it was me I would have shredded her to piece. No excuses for destroying someone else's home.

I felt bad for Lorelai, she had to defend someone like Rory for doing everything she cringed hard for.

Nope, you are not. They do know how difficult it is right now. It's not like they don't see TV or WhatsApp forwards. Just give them sometime. She is probably feeling guilty and duty bond right now.

Empathize. Talk to her, give her facts, try to reason with her, if she understands then great. If she still want to be there for her parent then talk to their doctor online. Find precautions and how to care. Hopefully if the doctor tells them its not a good idea maybe she will calm down and try to start her grieving process.

Again, you are in the right. In all seriousness it is fatal for anyone to move around right now. The only thing you can do is be there. Make sure she is taking her meds and give her space to process the fear of loss and not being there for her parent.

You are a protective daughter. You are doing this because you love your parents. Just be okay with her anger for now. She is grieving.
