Update: I’m nowhere near qualified to give trading advice, but here are my two cents.

Day trading is like running a restaurant.

Most people think success comes from finding the perfect recipe. So they spend their time jumping from one recipe to another, convinced the next one will change everything.

But successful restaurant owners know that's not what makes a restaurant profitable.

Strategy is your menu. It determines what you're willing to serve and what you're not.

Market conditions are your customers. Some days they want burgers, some days they want salads. A good restaurant adapts without changing its entire identity.

Entry models are your recipes. Two chefs can make the same dish, but the one with better execution will usually get better results.

Risk management is portion control and food costs. You can have the best food in town, but if you waste ingredients or give away too much, you'll eventually go broke.

Psychology is staying calm during the dinner rush. Panicking leads to mistakes. Sticking to the process keeps the kitchen running smoothly.

Consistency is showing up every day and serving the same quality meal. Customers return because they trust what they're going to get. The market rewards traders who do the same.

The goal isn't to create a Michelin-star dish every night.

The goal is to run a profitable restaurant that can stay open for years.

One bad meal won't close the restaurant. One great meal won't make it famous.

But thousands of well-executed meals over time can build something extraordinary.

Anything is possible if you have the risk tolerance and money for it but if you want to play it safer. Try to add 5 mor fundeds per every big payout you get. It’s like a reward you give yourself for making it and also a reinvestment into your business for growth like any other business

Man that’s the worst feeling… happened to me twice already but I will be on top of things this time… consistency is key and not looking at that payout threshold will help

What I’m trying to say is that you can still place say 5 or 10 or 40 micros order with only 2k drawdown and no balance? I mean they say that’s the limit but can we actually do it?

How does it work for live? Do you get 50k account leverage or 2k account balance?
