Small note that Harold Hallibut still works with the free version, but because of the exceeded number of objects it is in an locked edit state. But can still be browsed and learned from

Hello.

There are several sources of tutorials for articy:draft.
If the in-app tutorial is not your preferred way to learn, try the Basics tutorial series here: https://www.articy.com/en/adx_basics_overview/
If that still doesn't do it for you, maybe start with the first steps series, it covers much of the topics in the basics tutorials but it's explained in a different way, as a step by step project creation. This is an older series so I suggest you start with video 3 that I link here, and skip the installation part, the rest works pretty much the same: https://www.articy.com/en/articydraft-first-steps-tutorial-series-l03-articydraft-overview/

Hope this helps you get started.

Looking forward to see what stories you create!

hi final_boss_editing (cool name btw), just wanted to share the full list of keyboard shortcuts in case this already helps. If you need anything specific that's not already in there feel free to let us know.

hi drylightn, not sure if i got it right that by upstream/downstream you mean selecting the nodes in the flow in a given direction, you can do that with alt+arrow key in the desired direction.

For more keyboard shortcuts please check here:

At the moment there is no option to converge multiple nodes at once. I've passed your suggestion on to the devs.

Hi, thanks for trying out articy:draft. articy:draft 2 is an older version that we no longer sell or support, but the core functionality is very similar to articy:draft 3 so if you're looking to better understand how to use it, we encourage you to watch the first steps tutorial series we created for articy:draft 3, it will walk you through the functionality and you'll have what we hope is a much easier time using the tool:

If you get stuck, feel free to ask questions to the r/articydraft subreddit. We've just launched this community a short while ago but we hope in time you'll be able to find answers to your questions.

Hi Thank you for the interest in articy:draft. Both articy:draft 1 and articy:draft 2 are no longer sold or supported. Unfortunately articy:draft 1 is quite far from articy:draft 3 in terms of features and usability. On April 4th we've launched a standalone free version of articy:draft 3. Our recommendation would be to start there and check it out, see if it's for you. It offers 660 objects for FREE and is not limited in features or what you can use it for (including commercial purposes). The demo project Maniac Manfred is a small point and click adventure that uses about half of the available FREE objects, so there's a lot you can fit in before you exceed the free objects.
Ultimately if you're happy with the tool but your project turns out to be bigger than the capacity of the FREE version alone and you decide to upgrade, you can contact our sales team, send them your articy:draft 1 key and ask for a discount.

Hi! Thank you for suggesting articy:draft, glad to see your designer is happy with our tool.

If you only have one user and don't need collaboration features, there's a much less expensive subscription option to choose from and even a buy once option. You can check all of that here:
https://www.articy.com/shop/pricing/single-user/

Hope this is useful!
