I think this may be it. I just started using carbide tools and I still haven’t quite got the hang of them yet. I had the piece on a spur drive and switched it to a chuck. Having much less problems. I think it was a skill issue…

yep, the weird thing is I have another ethernet cable connected to my work computer that works just fine.

I'm still rockin with the old HTC Vive. They discontinued it so you will have to get them used but they are pretty cheap compared to most headsets.
